Ds is 4.3yrs old has asd and is non verbal.
He is still in nappies also.
Last night he had a very green poo you could tell in the nappy but also when wiped it was very green on the wipes.
He didn't eat anything different to what he usually eats.
What could of caused this please.

Does he go to nursery/school? Play dough, paint etc. my DN turned his poo red once through eating play dough.

Yes he does go to preschool I will ask them this morning if he ate any play dough or paint.
He usually doesn't go near them though

Bubblegum flavour ice cream or lolly? They have colouring in them that turns poo green!

freshstart22 · 14/09/2016 07:12

Blue food colouring usually always causes green poo!

itsaconundrum · 14/09/2016 07:39

No he has defiantly not had either of them.
I'm starting to think it must be paint or playdough.

If it's dark green it might be licorice.
