colic -infacol vs dentinox

Trying to rule out colic in my 6 week DD - have been using infacol but today DH brought home dentinox colic drops which seem to be a different ingredient

Just wondering if anyone has used either or both and whether they have found them to be effective? I ran out so today haven't used it and I'm sure she's been crying more and more sick post feeds - not sure whether that would be related or not??

Colic is a catch all term for unexplained crying, so you can't rule it out! The colic medicines work on the idea that the crying is most likely caused by stomach pain. No one knows for sure though! Nothing really helped my son, it's just something we had to get through. And I think it stopped around the 10 week mark. Best of luck with it.

I'm not convinced by any of the "colic" medications, although some swear by them. I think they might just be a way for these big companies to make money, but I am a cynic like that!

Do you think the problem is wind then (as you're giving infacol)? Or reflux (as you mention being sick after feeds)?

Could she be overtired - how much is she sleeping over 24 hour period?

I don't know what the issue is if I'm honest!! She just cries whenever not being fed or asleep!! This has been from maybe 2-5 weeks then at 4 weeks started infacol and the crying was much better?? It's worst at 6-9pm so someone mentioned colic

She is sick a fair bit after feeds but not always and some days worse than others but she like lying down flat which apparently she wouldn't like if it was reflux???

Slee wise she had been having maybe 18-19 hours in 24 but just this week she seems to be having a bit less and much more awake in the day and only taking very short cat naps.... Not sure what I can do about that??
