My 12 yo DD had a mile removed on her back as was causing problems as was right where her bra fastened, she has 6 stitches and had them taken out at 10 days,
The next day she woke up an the wound was open and weeping a lot, it was a Sunday and where due to go on holiday the next day so on the advice went down to A&E who the nurse took a 2 second look as said was fine
roll on 4 months and she left with a scar about the size of a 5p it was heal with a indent an very thin layer of skin? problem now is the heal skin keeps slitting an weeping it does heal itself again but keeps doing it, is this normal? I was made to feel awful taking her to A&E so in nervous to go get it checked out at the doctors now?
