Post nasal drip. Allergic to beconase- advice needed

Dd is 6 and has all the symptoms of post nasal drip. Bunged up, bad breath and constant cough. Been back forwards to GP who prescribed beconase. After a few days rash appeared on tummy and headache behind eyes which are possible sideeffects of nasal spray. Stopped taking spray. Sideeffects went away. GP not prepared to refer us so agreed with DH to go privately to see ENT specialist. Now found out that all ENT specialist in our area are not allowed to see children under 12 privately. She has this horrible loose mucus cough all the time. Wwyd? Currently trying saline spray, gargles along with honey.

Have you tried an oral antihistamine?

I use an amtihistamine and a spray called Avamy (prescription)
Personally I would go to GP and put in writting a referal request. And see can they change meds and do blood test for allergens mine are dust dogs and pollen. It is horrible and I get realy sick with it. I am having loads of stomach test but honestly I believe it all stems from the nasal drip and migraine
