Hello all, dd is 5 months old- she's come down with an awful cough and cold along with a very high temp :( just wanted some advice on if I could give calpol and benylin infant cough medicine together or if it's a no no? I know some people say not to give babies cough medicine as it doesn't work but I've given it before for a cough and definitely noticed a difference!
Also best cream to get rid of nappy rash? She's never had it before but suddenly she's very red and sore, think it has come with this bug Sad
Thanks in advanceFlowers

As far as I can see benylin infant cough medicine just has glycerol in it so should be fine to give with calpol. Though check on the bottle if it says anything about paracetamol. Calpol is paracetamol so don't ever give anything else that has paracetamol in it, along with it.

For nappy rash I always used sudocrem (DH got a load of free samples with his work... :) ), but metanium and bepanthen are good too.

Okay I'll double check the bottle:)
I've been using metanium but not seemed to help so far I have some sudocrem in the cupboard I'll use that! Thankyou very muchSmile
