Any idea what this is on DS's head? (Photo)

Noticed this on DS (4)'s head a couple of weeks ago. That's not to say it wasn't there before but I think I would have noticed it at some point.
I'm going to make a GP appt but not sure if it's urgent or not.
DH is from a fairly 'moley' family if that's any use!

Looks a bit like ringworm OP .

Took him to chemist-they said not ringworm but not sure what. Booked into gp for Friday
