My 6 year old is complaining of "hurty wee" this evening. I think she might have an infection. I will take her to the gp in the morning but can anyone tell me anything I can do tonight to help her? I can't settle her. She's had some calpol. I know from when I've had it that not a lot helps except antibiotics but someone might have some good ideas!

I would try to get a urine sample before you go to the Drs as they're going to need one. I always keep a couple of sterile pots in the house. They can still test 24hrs later if you refrigerate. Otherwise keep plenty of fluids going through her as that should dilute the wee a bit and make it less hurty.
