Oily film in toilet bowl water

Dd called to have some help with wiping her bottom tonight. Noticed that there is a slight film of oil in bowl floating on water. Not sure if from urine or poo. She has complained a few times of tummy ache during the last week or so. Any ideas?

Does she eat a diet high in fat? If it's happening often and she has tummy aches then really all you can do is take her to the GP, it could be a digestion issue. Really none of us can say but you're obviously cocerned.

It equally could be nothing, upset stomach so all the good stuff isn't being absorbed properly for a bit type of thing.
