NITS question

Discovered both DSs, 6 and 8, have nits last night, for the first time. I treated their hair immediately and checked again this morning and the nits seem to have gone. They both have hair cuts booked this evening. Can we still go to the hairdressers or should we postpone?

Do they still have eggs? I would postpone until after the second treatment or you could end up with an embarrassing situation at the hairdressers if they have to stop because they have found some in their hair

thanks Demented. I rearranged until next week which is a shame as they both really need a hair cut. Would be highly embarrassing though to get turfed out if the hairdresser sees nits! What do the eggs look like? I checked their hair this morning and couldn't see anything much but they both have very blond hair so I could be missing them. Will do a further inspection tonight. Worse still, I think I have them and I have v long hair. Not sure who is going to de-nit me.
