Hi guys, I'm new to this so pleas bear with me!
So two weeks ago my daughter aged 5 was diagnosed with nasal polyps, she was given steroid drops, which run out today so I took her back today and he's given her another four weeks of drops then said about surgery. After school I noticed my 3 year old daughter had developed polyps. Now so many things on the internet about it all. Cystic Fibrosis was the main one. But is this genetic? Neither suffer from ha yfever which was another cause.
Does anyone have any ideas? 2 girls wit polyps, seems strange as all I've read is that its very rare for a child to get them?

Thanks

I don't know anything about polyps in children, but do know the tendency can run in families. I hope someone with more info comes along soon.

CF is genetic and to have it both you abd your dh must be carriers. It's tested for on the newborn screening.
