Does this look infected? Pic Attached

I'm taking my daughter to the doctors tomorrow because she HAS an ear infection (High temp, ear pain, been sick, clingy - all the usual signs)

But yesterday we were out for a couple hours and she had her wellies on, jumping and splashing in muddy puddles with the dog.

Wellies have obviously rubbed against her leg and caused this but could it be infected?

It could just be from the wellies.
I'd savlon, or other antiseptic cream it a couple of times between now and Dr appointment, and see what happens.
If that red patch starts spreading, out of hours tho. I don't think it will come to that tho.

It looks sore and angry but not infected. Some soothing antiseptic cream might help.

I've used sudocrem for now (much to her annoyance - she hates creams and stuff like that)
