My daughter (age 9) has a fairly large filiform wart on the side of her lip (pretty sure it is that as it looks just like the pics on the internet). We have an appointment with a GP and if the doctor won't remove it I will ask for a referral to a specialist (privately if necessary).
She also has a clump on these (or similar) right at the top of her vulva.
I have NO idea what to do about that but will obviously tell the doctor about those as well. I have asked her outright if anyone has ever touched her in that area and she was really shocked and insisted that no one ever had, so I'm not too worried about anything like that. I suspect she just transferred them herself.
She is sadly prone to warts but we have never had one of these before - just the flattish ones on finger and toes, and the occasional flattish one on her leg or hand. We've successfully treated these with duct tape before but obviously I won't be doing that.
I just wonder what other people's experiences have been with these? My understanding is that most options have a possibility of scarring which is horrible to contemplate.
