Rosy cheeks

My dd who was three yesterday has had rosy cheeks every afternoon/early evening for the past week or so. She has no temperature and isn't particularly warm, hasn't been outside or running about etc beforehand. Anyone else had this or any ideas why this might be?

Slapped cheek? Think it's a virus but when my son had it he had flu like symptoms too and felt rubbish.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it's slapped cheek, it only tends to be in the afternoon or evening that they get red, I just can't see a pattern to it.
