Just a virus or could this be sinusitis

Dd had a nasty flu virus about 3 weeks ago. Since the She has been very nasal and congested. On Friday she started with a high temp and headache. Took her to ooh as I suspected a sinus infection but was told just a virus. Today she said her teeth hurt and hard to control fever of upto 40. Dr was adamant just a virus and said could last another few days. Said her throat was red so does this discount a sinus infection?

There are some nasty viruses around. Our ds had a fever i couldnt control, headache, ears hurting, sniffing, eyes hurting.... Rash developed.. But chest clear, no ear infection throat not that red so they said its a virus.. If you are still concerned go back to gp tomorrow x
