what is this!?

Hiya my son has had a spot on his leg for a good year or so! Hes just 4. And it seems to be bigger now than it used to be, but he obviously has grown too!
Its on the back of his leg. Mm and doesn't bother him tho hes aware its there. Is it Worth a doctor visit?

Think it's Molluscum Contagiosum. Have a Google. It's not terrible, lots of children get them and it will go away in time, but it takes forever. DD had a couple on her back which got infected, because of the awkward place they were. She kept catching them. I did take her to the doctors, but he couldn't do much for her really.

Ive just had a quick google and it does appear very similar but it seems very unusual to have just one. Especially one that has last over a year growing slowly without any new ones developing. Surely it would have been expected for this one to either receed and crust over or for new ones to have cropped up by now!?
