11 month old DD has lump behind nipple

DD was in the bath earlier and I noticed one nipple looked swollen. Felt it and there's a lump there, under the skin. Nothing on the other one.

Obviously I'm going to call the doctors tomorrow but you can never get an appointment and in the meantime I am freaking out. Please tell me this is common and harmless

I think it is pretty common. My dd2 had the same when she was little. I'm not sure I spoke to GP about it but it went away. Hopefully this will put your mind at rest a little until you see your gp.
