Hi,

My ds is 13 months and has conjunctivitis. We can't get an appt with our GP today. His eyes are very saw, we are bathing. I've got chloramphenicol 1% eye ointment from the pharmacy- yet were for my older child but we didn't use them (got drops instead) can I use the ointment on my 1 yr old. What would a GP prescribe for a baby?

Yes you can but it's better for the GP to tell you if it's ok or not
I've done it with my 1yo a few times, the GP told me first time to do it and then he said I can give him myself every time it gets really bad
