Baby acne or something else??? Please advise

It started out looking like baby acne but he is now covered in pustules! It is spreading and merging into very large pustules.

Do I need to go to the Dr? he is 11 days old. I'm getting worried. The midwife signed us off yesterday but they were red spots then not pustules.

You could ring the ward - or MW team as usually you have access to care for 28 days post birth.

They do look like baby spots but worth checking out in such a little one.

I've just seen the Dr. Shown the pictures of his face over the last 3 days. So useful to take pics each day. Did start as milk spots but is now a staph infection. Have been given antibiotic cream. Just applied 1st dose with a new cotton bud for each spot. Going to get through a lot of cotton buds.

Hopefully it will clear up soon & congratulations.
