Hi everyone
My 2.5 year old has came out in chicken pox, he's had them for 4 days now, some are starting to dry out and some are still popping up.
I've noticed the one by his eyebrow is very red, would you guys say he needs it checking out? A possible infection? Or could it may just be part of the healing process?
Any advice would be appreciated. First time mum.
Thank you Smile

I would get it checked out just because it is near his eye. It does look a bit inflamed

I agree with dementedpixi, it looks very inflamed so possibly infected.

Definitely looks painful, poor thing. Pox shouldn't be that red. Disinfect if you have something antibacterial to hand, be very careful not to get any in the eye. If its too close, use saline.
