Hi all, just wanted some advice. I have an 8 yr old dd who gets upset every bed time complaining of a stomach ache. The ache goes after she has had her breakfast but is enough to keep her up way longer than I like and she can in the bathroom 4 or 5 times before she actually falls asleep. (She doesn't go the toilet every time, think it just where she wants to be when not feeling well)

It isn't avoiding bed time - she is 8 1/2 and has no issues with bed time.

I have thought of food she eats before bed but can find no pattern, have bought dinner time forward and kept an eye on her fluid intake. Her food intake has not changed and she hasn't eaten anything new.

I am getting worriedConfused I know I should take her to the Drs but she is a wimp (I can say that as her mum yeah???) She will cry and get stressed and cling to me like a limpet - I walk with a stick and won't be able to get her off me!!!!!!

Has anyone had similar symptoms with their child??

Yes you do need to take her to the dr.
Could be abdominal migraine.
