4YO holding in wee

For about a week my daughter is refusing to wee until she absolutely can't hold on any longer.

She's in no pain when she does go, and the area doesn't look sore at all.

She's drinking a normal amount of fluids, and tantrums when I ask her to try for a wee. She won't go on a morning, and one day she hung on till about 4pm. She's also refusing to be wiped with toilet paper and only wants wipes.

She also has trouble going for a poo as well, and has never been on the toilet for one.

I'm at my wits end now she has started not weeing as well.

Any ideas what I can do?

I am not an expert. But my instinct would be to totally ignore her refusal. Let her get on with it and if she has an accident, she'll soon want to go again.

(Other thought...perhaps she has a UTI ??? Maybe a trip to GP if it doesn't improve v soon. )

She keeps complaining of tummy ache, not sure if it's poo or wee related
