Keloid disorder

Ds is 8. I have noticed that every time he has a scar it turns lumpy, this has become more obvious after having chicken pox. Literally every spot has turned into a keloid scar. Anyone know about this problem.

Is it keloids (scar becomes bigger than the original injury area) or hypertrophic (same size, just raised)? No one knows why some people get them, just that once you get one, you are more likely to get them again. The darker your skin tone is, the more likely as well.

Kelocote gel is very effective at reducing the appearance of keloid/hypertrophic scars.
