My DD 20mo has been suffering with bad nappy rash on and off for the past 3 months. We've been really lucky with nappy rash so far but it now seems to have flared up again badly. I'm doing all the usual things- lots of nappy free, plain bath water, using metanium and I also only use water wipes on her bum.
It all seems to have coincided with teething as her second molars are on the move. She had 16 teeth by 16mo and her bottom molars are massive bumps under the gums. Definitely feel like they should cut soon but one of her top ones have started to bump up now too.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had toddlers with bad nappy rash with these second molars? Find it so strange that she's never had it as bad as this with any other teeth.
