DD has a rash

Any idea what this might be?

It's on the front of DDs thigh. It started as 2/3 spots a few days ago. It's a bit itchy but she seems fine otherwise. She is 11. Chicken pox and scarlet fever are going around at school but it doesn't look like either of those (she had mild chicken pox when she was about 3).

It looks a bit like herpes OP. I'd take her to the GP if I were you. HS1 which is like the cold sores on your mouth can also pop up on legs. Has she been run down?

Thanks for the reply house. I took her to the Doctor yesterday and he thinks it shingles (so you weren't too far off). It's not too bad so nothing to be done and it should just clear up by itself.

Ooh bless her! Does it hurt though? Who'd have thought a child that young could get shingles!
