How often does your baby poo??

Ds (9 months) poos a minimum of 3 times a day, sometimes up to 7-8. Sometimes wakes to poo in the early hours. Almost inevitably fills his nappy after every meal/snack. He's transitioned onto formula from breast in last month, no difference. Been blw since 26 weeks. Gaining weight appropriately etc. It's just so different to my first who was and still is a strictly once a day girl! The other thing is he still regularly leaks poo out of his nappies despite it being a "normal " thickness from what I remember.
Is this a variation on normal or should I worry a bit? My washing machine and I need your advice!

My little boy is also 9 months and exactly the same! He's a big baby and eats/drinks plenty so prob why. My dd was also completely different, once a day max, sometimes every other. Not much help but you're not alone!

Thanks it, nice to know it's not just us!

Mine went several times a day - I used to have to shower him off at least once a day as the force with which it came out would shoot it up his back and occasionally into his hair Shock. He is still a fairly prolific poo-er at three and sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night to do a massive one, so I assume it's just the way he's built...
