Good morning,
My DD (4.5) has ongoing glue ear issues. She is being assessed under a consultant, who has now finally acknowledged that she does have an issue thankfully but is still adopting a watch and wait approach.
We've generally been fine with this because each little thing they've tried has seen some improvement in the situation for DD, plus she isn't suffering with constant infections (just wavering hearing loss and occasional infections).
However at the moment she is waking up in the early hours in considerable discomfort. We assume its where the liquid has settled when she's asleep and the movement of it when she moves. Once she's up and about she is absolutely fine.
Not sure what to do about this. Are there any ways we can help with this discomfort or should we be going back to a GP or her consultant?
