Ear pain

My nearly 4 yo has had a cold, runny nose ect for 3 days and is now complaining of ear pain :-( shall be calling the doctors in the next half hour in the hope he can get an appointment today. Is there anything I can do for the pain? He says it hurts and is noisey? Very broken sleep generally grouchy ect

Assume you have given calpol or nurofen.
Prop him up as lying down makes it worse.

Poor thing, ear pain is awful.

Yea he's had calprofen I think it is. Calpols version of iburopfen that's all the shop had. Hoping the doctors will see him today

Doctors appointment not until 11-50 he's with his dad at the mo. Staying there for half term so I need to go and collect him soon

He got worse before he got better. He also developed pneumonia on his chest. But with antibiotics ect he's bounced back very well thank you. Very glad we got the docs when we did and saw a good one as she checked on his again later in the eve

Oh i am sorry to hear that but glad he is on the mend
