Yesterday DS was sent home as 8 angry spots appeared. One on his face, neck, leg and one on his side. Took him to GP who didn't really know, but said it more appeared then it was. Today the ones he has are fading and there are no more. I'm keeping him home today just to be safe but he also has no fever and is well In himself

My kids both get spots as a viral rash. Chicken Pox are fluid filled

Would it be viral if he has no temperature or anything? My DP was very ill today but showed no outward symptoms (he doesn't usually moan about being poorly)

Chicken pox doesn't fade, it crusts. IT is itchy and doesn't it generally start on torso and then only spread to extremities and face?

Probably a contact reaction to something.
