Should I take DD to the dentist?

DD, aged 8, fell over at school today and bashed her top front teeth. Apparently no bleeding and neither look chipped but she can't bite down. She tried to eat an Apple and ended up in tears. So, do I call the dentist in the morning and try to get an emergency appointment or leave it a few days to see if there's any improvement first?
