Freaking out about threadworms

I recently discovered that my 9 month old baby has threadworms. I have no idea how long he's had them but he's always been unsettled during late evening so he could have had them for ages Sad. I always checked his nappies and never saw anything but decided to check his bum after he'd gone to sleep one evening because my older dd was complaining of an itchy bum. What a shock i got! So the past few nights I've been removing any that i see and washing his bum thoroughly first thing in the morning. I'm constantly washing bedding (he sleeps with me), damp dusting, hovering. I'm paranoid that the eggs are everywhere around me. How will i ever get rid of these blighters when neither he nor i can take medication to kill them (i'm bf).

It's horrible to think of all those bastard worms crawling around inside him and i hate seeing them on him. I feel like I'm going crazy about it though. My two other kids have been treated but are under strict instructions to shower and wash bums before anything in the morning.

Is there anything else i can do?

Take baby to GP I'm sure the GP can prescribe something for children under 2. Make sure you treat everyone else and then again in two weeks. Keep finger nails short. Wash(scrub) everyone's hands in am. Ensure underwear and PJs worn for bed. Horrible things.
