So worried about my 4yo son

Hi,
I am so worried about my 4yr old son. He was due to have adenotonsillectomy surgery last Wed but it was postponed due to him being at end of cough after bad virus. The anesthetist/senior Dr advised us to wait 3/4wks I order for things to heal properly inside. Obviously we took their advice. My son has since developed an awful nervous tic in which he constantly rubs his face, sniffs & clears his throat. Heartbreaking to see, esp at night when he,s tired. He has been aggitated for a few months but things have definitely gotten a lot worse. He asks us on a daily basis when he will get his tonsils out & gets very angry when we tell him in a few weeks time. I just wonder if we should ask if there is any way his op date can be brought forward as I really hate to think how bad he will be in 4/5wks time. It's really getting him down, & us. Thank you for any advice.

i have been offered removal of various organs over the years and have always found it worthwhile to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion and have retained all body parts as a result .
