5yo dd weeing straight after drinking...

My 5yo dd drinks alot. Probably at least a litre more then her 7yo sister. She always has drunk alot but its very noticable now.

Over the past few weeks she has started weeing straight after drinking. Sometimes 3 trips to the loo in about 10 minutes. She wet herself in school the other day because the teacher made her wait until she was changed to go (words were had about this)

She has had about 3 urine infections at the start of the year but these were accompanied by stomach pain etc. I had her tested a couple of months ago when she was weeing a lot and she had no infection.

Is it just her bladder? Diabetes comes up when you google it but the drs seem reluctant to test her.

I would get her tested for a urine infection and diabetes pronto.

yep - she needs testing for UTI's and Diabetes asap.

Thank you. The more I have googled it the more boxes she ticks for diabetes. She eats all the time, looses weight every now and then has been itching her genitals today. All symptoms apparently :(

Take her to the GP. Diabetes is easily tested for. All they'll need to start with doing is a quick blood sugar by a fingerprick and dip her urine for glucose and ketones.
