Sore throat and stomach ache

DD(3) is complaining of stomach ache and sore throat. She hasn't eaten anything and is even refusing her favorite pasta with butter. I have managed to get her to eat/drink was frozen watermelon juice that I made into a slushie type drink, but she is refusing breast milk which is really weird for her. She's lying around in my lap or on the floor. The watermelon juice has perked her up a bit. I'm just not sure what to give her.

Last night she woke up nearly every hour saying "ow, ow, ow" over and over again. I'm just not sure what to do. She has no other symptoms besides a sore throat and belly ache, I was thinking maybe she might have strep, but that doesn't seem to be a common thing in the UK.

Just not sure if it's okay to give her medicine with a belly ache and sore throat. Anyone know?

It might be strep although in UK that is usually diagnosed as tonsillitis. The tummy pain might be caused by swollen glands fighting an infection.

it is normal for a small child to feel pain in the stomach whilst having a sore throat.

She has a low grade fever, so I guess I will keep my eye on her. It's good to know that it's normal for her to have a stomach ache as well.

I'll just give Calpol when she needs it.
