Flu Nasal Spray

Just had a letter about this for my DD. All my kids have had all their vaccines to date but I can't seem to find much information about this one. What I have found seems to suggest there may not be any benefit to DD but the big reason to do it is for her immunity to protect vulnerable members of the population. But it's a live vaccine that sheds apparently so she may still infect people after she's had it - is that right? It's also sort of guesswork with flu vaccines isn't it as it might not be the right vaccine for this season's flu?

So is there any point to it? I've not found any real evidence that it's harmful expect on a site which is generally anti-vax so I'm unsure how much importance to give that.

If people with bigger brains than me could comment I would be very grateful!
