Hi,
My DS is 8 and was very poorly this spring. He spent 3 weeks in hospital and the cause of his nasty time was his appendix. He has a coprolith inside it. We were told it would need to come out or he would get ill again.
Operation has finally been scheduled, he is 8 and in good health.
Any idea how long it may take him to recover? Anyone been through this recently.

A coprolite? wow. Are they planning keyhole surgery? The recovery is much faster from that. 4 tiny holes with little plasters on them.

Yupperoo, a stone made of poo. Oh how we laughed.
I think they're planning keyhole surgery. How long do you reckon the recovery is? The notes we've been sent are very general.
