DC2 is 7 weeks and has just started to come out in chicken pox. Not unexpected as DC1 had it 2 weeks ago but we were hoping that we would avoid it with my immunity and being ebf.

So far dc2 seems ok if a little quiet and subdued. Also seems a bit more sleepy and not feeding as long/frequently. No temp so far although dc1 was at their worst 3 days after the spots appeared.

Anyone have any experience with chicken pox in a small baby? Just looking for a bit of reassurance!

My baby had it at 12 weeks, caught it off my toddler. He was fine after a couple of days and coped better with it than my toddler. Put scratch mitts on and ride it out

Ooo, scratch mitts are a good idea, thanks!
