Overactive bladder 7 yr old DD - experiences?

Been to the lovely enuresis clinic last week with 7 year old DD as we are still having problems with daytime wetting and never a dry night.

The nurse said she had a very small bladder volume on scan - 21ml? and that her problems may be related to an overactive bladder. We have some weeks of measuring wee and so forth before a follow up appointment to see if this is the issue and discuss options.

I understand that if the problem is overactive bladder this is relatively common and medication is an option so just wondered if anyone had experience to share? How did you find the medication?

I have overactive bladder and take Regurin for it. I'm an adult (obviously!) but I find it helps me (I'm not sure if you're asking specifically about kids, so apologies if notBlush.

You have to keep taking it, though. Hope you find some answers for your dd.

Hi, have they checked for constipation/fecal impaction? Only asking as my daughter is 7 and started daytime and nighttime wetting and it's exact same as over active bladder symptoms. GP said it's more than likely constipation and we are to treat it as that.
