DS (8 yo) has fine dark hair on his back which we have always ignored, but has recently been teased at school. Is now conscious of it..any suggestions?

Sorry no cure, but my child has this.
I was thinking, if it get to the point that he get teased, I would start thinking about hair removal of some sort. I was thinking about the thing we see on the TV, try something like "no-no"? Back is too big to use bleach(hair lightener) or some kind of chemical.

Thanks rainagaintoday..I thought the same..seems drastic but don't want him to lose confidence especially with sport/swimming..

My Ds hasn't started swimming at school yet, but when he does, and if he is teased or worried about it, I think I will give him a choice. At this age,
these things can be really mentally damaging for them.
I would ask him what he wants to do about it.
If he wants to, I will let him try something like "no-no", and if he doesn't want to do it, it's ok.

I think a lot of children are quite hairy( because of hormones?), but most of them are lucky if they have lighter hair colour.
