Ringworm?

My 7 month old has a rash around her mouth as you can see in the pic attached. The skin is raised and rough to touch and from what I can see it looks like ringworm. Yesterday we went round to a friend's house as she has a baby the same age and DD sat in his babywalker thing. They have a dog and a cat who didn't come into direct contact but I'm guessing this is where it came from :( what do you think? I'm worried about creams they might prescribe with it being so close to her mouth.

Ringworm?

I can't tell from the pic, is it a raised ring or is the whole spot raised? If just a raised ring, no centre bit then will be ringworm (horrible name when no worms involved!).

I've had it and it spreads quickly, so get treatment today. Not sure if its a pharmacy or gp though, might be worth ringing out of hours to check.

The whole thing is raised and it looks like 2 more are developing now.

Hmm, not sure then. Google ring worm images or perhaps pop in to a pharmacy to ask.

Just had another thought, 2 days ago she tried red pepper for the first time and a little red mark appeared next to her mouth which soon disappeared (never thought anything of it) and last night she had some more so maybe it's an allergy to citrus? I'll take her to the pharmacist. It doesn't really look like ringworm as they're not perfectly round and the centre bit isn't white or smooth.

ringworm would not come up as quickly as that. It could be food related though

Sorry it was Thursday when we went to my friend's house not yesterday. So it doesn't tend to show up that quick?

Looks like eczema to me, my 7 month old has the same.
Started when he started teething.
Try some aquarius cream And see.If that helps..
If not go to your GP.

GP on phone thinks impetigo?? Wants us to take her to a&e but more worried about germs and stuff lurking around there at the moment :(
