My 8 year old son has had headaches quite regularly but becoming increasingly frequent his latest being sunday night to the point it made him dizzy. It eased off but was still present tuesday so I took him drs. Did full range of tests all clear except he suggest slight dehydration but not enough to show on urine test. Said increase fluids and will disappear. He still has the same headache tonight which is not shifting even though drinking loads and taken ibuprofen. Should I take him back to drs?

Yes, always go if you're worried. Have you had his eyes tested or could it be hay fever?

Hi yeh had his eyes tested last month due to increase of headaches but they perfect. He going to bed with a headache and waking up with it. The dr checked his blood sugar etc all on Tuesday and said he seems fine. No hayfever hun

Definitely go back to the dr. Insists for more investigation, if the headache isn't easing with kids ibuprofen or calpol, it needs to be looked into further.

Not likely to be anything sinister but really must be checked. A 6 day headache is awful. It could possibly be a migraine?

I really wish him well, I have suffered headaches since I was a child.

Never worry about that and always go with your gut. You know him best. Poor boy, good luck Tomo, don't leave unless you are happy that he's been checked enough. A headache that doesn't ease with meds needs looking into.

Thinking of you both, update us Tomo.
