Diarrhoea in a 3 month old

DD2 had her second dose of rotavirus drops a week ago, and started to get more frequent diarrhoea-like poos over the weekend.

Now she's had 3 dirty nappies all before 10am so as far as I can see this is full-on diarrhoea now.

She seems alert & happy, eating well, (I'm combi feeding) and I know what to watch out for re dehydration.

My questions are:
a) this doesn't seem to be a 'mild' case of diarrhoea after 3 poos in as many hours, so is this likely to be a tummy bug in its own right not related to the vaccine?

b) do I carry on as normal with our regular activities provided no-one else comes into direct contact with DD2? I am a SAHM and DD1 (aged 3) is supposed to be at playgroup tomorrow morning and a play date in the afternoon, and we have things planned for the whole rest of the week and weekend. DD2 will be either in her buggy or being held by me or DH so we wouldn't let her come into physical contact with any of the other children.

When DD1 had diarrhoea as a baby I stayed indoors for a week and got thoroughly bored, I can't really do that now as I have DD1 to keep entertained! But should I be staying away from groups and other activities for a few days, just to see if the diarrhoea clears up a bit?
