We have some (very old) hedrin and a nit comb somewhere. Thought we were past this stage, dd at secondary now

What's the best method?

I'd get three bottles of Hedrin once and apply on three conscutive weekends and comb in between.Be very generous with the Hedrin and leave it on as long as possible. VO5 shampoo for men to get rid of wax and gel will stop her hair looking greasy afterwards. Dd has long thick hair and this has worked every time.

We too have had our first bout of head lice in yr 7, I'd really hoped those days were behind us Sad

DD has long, straight, thick hair and wet combing with a nitty gritty comb and lots of conditioner is the way for us. I see all the untied hair at school and feel fear....
