Symptoms of chickenpox reminder please

Not sure if my dc who's 2 has got chickenpox or not, he's got a runny nose, off his food and generally just a bit unwell the last 5 days or so, then ive noticed today a reddy pinkish spot on his eyebrow, then since waking from his afternoon nap, hes got 2 or 3 on his tummy, and a couple on his legs. He started playgroup 2 weeks ago so im wondering if it could be chivkenpox but cant remember the symptoms? he sometimes gets viral rash when poorly but these spots dont look quite the same.

Spots are the main thing and they multiply within days if not hours.Usually mainly on trunk and face and head to start. Some children have no other symptoms but others have a mild temp and feel a bit rough. Google image search chicken pox rash. By the time you're sure it's nearly over! Good luck.

Thank you, had him to the doctors as he had some lumps come up in the back of his head which turned out to be glands then more spots so def chickenpox! . Not sure when he can return to playgroup though?

Not until they crust. About 5-7 days from onset. You will probably find that the ones from now will be crusting by Sunday but he'll keep getting more over next day or so
