Threadworm

Hi,
I'm going a bit mad overcleaning & getting generally depressed about threadworm, which I have & my daughter too. I'm obsessed with keeping it away from my 6 month old baby girl as she can't be treated. Any success stories? Also, how much cleaning should you do if it returns after 1 week and should I retreat yet, or wait 2 weeks? Thanks

When cleaning, particularly dealing with bed clothes and body towels, try not to shake them vigorously, as the eggs could become airborne and be inhaled.
Wash bedding, towels and knickers at a high temperature.
Make sure to keep nails trimmed, particularly in your DD, and to prevent her from reaching her bottom with her hands.
Wipe surfaces, particularly door handles.

DS had them, and we were both treated at a two week interval and all was fine.
