Is Infracol giving baby reflux

I was giving my now 5 week old Infracol but he seemed to show signs of reflux.
I gave him Gaviscon (from GP, though she didn't ask me much about his symptoms) and stopped the Infracol. that helped s bit but made him constipated.

I decided I was being too neurotic and stopped the Gaviscon. Although some signs of reflux and having to keep him upright after feeds he was happy and content.

So now, I'm not giving him anything he has bad wind! His tummy is hard, his brings his knees up and he grunts and generally looks uncomfortable but don't feel like there is reflux.

So, does the Infracol cause reflux?

Also, I think the cause of the wind is his tongue tie that HVs and MWs say not to worry about as he is putting on weight. We are breastfeeding.

Hi - infacol doesn't cause reflux. Gaviscon can cause constipation.

Did your GP actually diagnose reflux, I'm a little confused?

HV visitor had mentioned that he could have reflux, that's all I said to GP and she gave Gaviscon, didn't really ask for symptoms or look at him.
