As per op...my ds2 was dx today with this. I had never heard of it before. We ended up in a and e last night and the Dr at first thought it was appendicitis.
Bloods ok and Dr (who I know and trust) dx him with AM. Tbh I googled it (I know, I know! :)) and he seems a textbook case.
We are giving him pain meds, and the Dr has said if it persists we can try a a migraine med, and has booked him in for an ultrasound of his tummy. So, I can't complain. He is being very thorough!
My questions are;
How do others manage this re school and
Re trips and holidays?
Ds2 is only 6 and has had a bad time recently with his health (had an adenotonsilectomy last year) and I dont want him to get upset or worried.
It's awful seeing him in such pain :(
One thing I have done is ordered some sick bags from Amazon Blush thought these might come in handy when out and about and on hols?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

I've just come on here to start a thread about this too. The Dr thinks this is what my ds has too. No advice but lots of sympathy.
