Both me and DD have got rotten colds ( she's also teething), have been giving her calpol and making sure she doesn't over do it but over the course of today she's rapidly losing her voice!

She's not got a temp or anything else, still okay but a bit more grumpy than usual. I don't think there's anythjng else I can do for her is there? We've done the bathroom with the shower on and I put some Vicks on a Muslin on the radiator at night which seems to help as well as proping the cot up. Anything I'm missing?

Vices on the soles of her feet

When ever I have laryngitis the Drs told me to keep hydrated as that helps keep the larynx lubricated so the vocal cords get better quicker. Easier said then done with a LO though but you could up her feeds a little.
