Chickenpox and newborn

I am after some advice as suddenly I am panicking!

I went to see my friend's lovely 2 day old baby today, only to come home and find a couple of spots on my toddler that look a bit like early chickenpox. (No other spots have developed yet so it may just be nothing and I am being over cautious).

My son wasn't with me as I went on my own but I am now panicking in case the newborn baby could have been exposed to the virus through me- is that possible? I have had chickenpox and so has the mother who is also breastfeeding.

As I say, it's not even definitely chickenpox anyway.

Many thanks for any advice.

the baby will have wonderful protection from the breastmilk as that's the way nature intended it....get the disease...pass on protection to the new ones...
