My 6 month old has not got a blocked nose but he is making darth vader type noises, it seems to be coming from the throat area.
He seems well in himself no temp, breathing problems etc.
He is not doing it himself as it's still the same while asleep.
So was just wondering if any one else's little ones had the same thing and know what it could be?

Sounds very similar to how i would have describe youngest. We saw out pediatrician who sent us to ENT. She had laryngomalacia which is where the larynx is soft and under-developed. It isn't dangerous and normally resolves naturally by the age of 2. She also had nasal blockages which required surgery to remove. I would ask your dr for a referral and get it checked out. They found DDs larynx prob by using a scope down throat, and one up nose found those blockages.

Thank you for your reply adoptmama, did your dd always have this or did it just come on like my babys?

Not sure - she is adopted. I noticed it fairly quickly although prior care said they noticed nothing.

Could it be Asthma? or croup?
