My 6 month old son has had viral infection the last week or So. He's nearly back to normal just has a constant runny nose and cough. How can I clear his nose as sometimes it stops runing and he has trouble sniffing?

Snuffle babe (vicks for babies), steam, cot propped up, fresh air. You can sit in the bathroom with the kettle boiling, shower on etc. Or put wet towels on a radiator. Just be v careful obviously. It'll pass in time. Sometimes if they're really blocked up you can suck the snot out with a thing from the pharmacy (or your own mouth which I don't recommend as a fun thing to do on a Monday morning).
